Pros:
Unsurprisingly intimate, complex and poignant lyrical content, creating a strong emotional core for the album
Sound choices, especially in the use of varied retro synths, are inspired and bring much-needed up-tempo energy to an otherwise depressing listen
Production is simultaneously crystal clear and adorably strange, using some of the most unique yet effective vocal layering out there
Cons:
Simply too short, with many tracks feeling like they end before releasing their full musical or thematic potential
The more solemn and ground tracks can suffer from plodding tempos and uninspired usage of the sound palate
Best: There's Nothing Left for You
Worst: Everyone
8/10 Like if the Weeknd was a sad girl
