Pros:

Built from unbelievably powerful and memorable melodies, expanding on them in a methodical yet emotive way as it progresses

Instrumentation is, unsurprisingly, brimming with detail and heart, playing thunderous bass and serene woodwinds off of one another beautifully

Wonderfully cinematic and storied, carrying the listener along a vivid journey of emotions and harmonic flourishes

Cons:

Meanders somewhat in its second half, momentarily losing sight of its melodic centre

Occasional abrupt mood switches can disrupt the piece's momentum

Best: IV. Allegro con fuoco

Worst: III. Scherzo molto vivace
